where do I even begin? no AC in the room, really? the cleaning staff thought knocking at 8 am was acceptable. and I expected a warm welcome for my 'troubles' but got nada. it’s like they think every guest is the same, and that’s just pathetic. the whole experience should’ve been a luxurious retreat, but instead, it was a nightmare.

Checked in at Plaza Inn Stuttgart-Filderstadt with some excitement. The reception staff were incredibly friendly, even welcoming me in the morning during breakfast service. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, making it a lovely way to start the day. The location is close to Stuttgart Airport, which was a huge plus. However, not everything was perfect. The room lacked air conditioning, which made it quite uncomfortable during my stay. The absence of screens on the windows allowed bugs to enter. Additionally, one night I encountered issues with the cleaning staff knocking early without respecting the 'do not disturb' policy. Also, parking was a hassle. you need special access to get in and out, which took longer than expected. Overall, not a bad stay, but a few adjustments would make it much better.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel is a short walk from public transport spots. They offer a garage parking at a reasonable rate. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the suggestions of local things to do while waiting for our flight.

The breakfast offered was decent, though there were some shortages, particularly of bacon.

The double bed was actually just two uncomfortable single beds pushed together, which was misleading.

No AC in the room!!! Cleaning staff barged in too early!!! The bathroom tiles were broken and unclean!!! Lack of a proper double bed was disappointing!!! It took quite a while to find the hotel upon arrival!!!

Newly renovated rooms offered great comfort, though the check-in process was slower than expected. The hotel is quietly located near fields, allowing for a serene atmosphere. A complimentary shuttle service is available, which is very convenient. However, the bistro didn't consistently offer meals.

during my stay, I appreciated the great walking opportunities nearby, with the stunning Hohenheim Palace just a short drive away and the beautiful Uhlbergturm that offers scenic park views, perfect for leisurely strolls after a day of exploring.

The room was spacious with a nice TV and plenty of space to relax. The shower had nice warm water,, and the overall cleanliness was good. 👍

All was wonderful.

Decent option for an overnight stay in Filderstadt with good price value. The Sol cafe nearby was a nice spot for breakfast. Plan ahead for your taxi rides to local attractions.
